There is a famous psychologist, George Vaillant, whose main claim to fame was as the Director of a Harvard study of adults that was conducted over a period of 60 years! Reading your post this morning reminds us of his summary of this longitudinal research.

He was asked, “How do you summarize the way to be well and happy?”

He said, “I can summarize that in five words."

"Happiness is love, full stop.”

Beautiful story! I’m still completely in awe of your 200 day ultramarathon streak, and since clearly this is not a “normal” undertaking I’ve wondered what makes you tick. This provides a lot of great insight into you as a person and athlete. Very inspired by everything you do.

As someone who follows your adventures, and is in awe of your accomplishments, I wondered how your relationship worked with all you've been through this year. Thank you for sharing, what a wonderful story. I too found the need to up my self love after my last former relationship. The book Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It by Kamal Ravikant is simple, short, and had a profound impact on me. I've shared copies with multiple friends. I think you'd like it if you haven't already come across it.
